Cell therapy is booming in many diseases. In diseases of the skeleton as it is believed that cell replacement could lead to bearing defects due to aging, this requires more developed and sometimes a combination of a material with cells. Through this research it seems important to know the embryonic development of osteo-articular tissue and the mechanisms of differentiation of bone cells, cartilage and tendon. The goal is to use easily accessible cells of other tissues (eg fat) which may, under certain conditions, cells become skeletal. This type of treatment is feasible only for bone loss or cartilage located.
Develop new methods of screening for these diseases
Using laboratory tests or imaging methods specific to these tissues, we will be able to detect diseases earlier, and specifically provide drugs to those tissues. The development of blood tests predictive of disease progression is also a goal. The genetics research is also very important because these diseases of aging are partly inherited, probably related to variants of several genes that affect everyone a little about the risk of these diseases.
